Dear little deer
I had to mute many of the colours for this scheme, but I think it is important not to feel you have to be rigid in what you do, Adapting is fine ... it is meant to be a springboard. I merged the green and yellow tones together with a lime green patterned paper which echoed the grass. I cut the pink/purple paper into a shape on the Silhouette and then stitched it in place. The black and cream paper added a pop of different colour and pattern to the page and as I wanted it to be about the purity of the deer I opted to leave the embellishments to a minimum.

So lovely, and I like your philosophy of "a jumping off point" :-) As always, your stitching is perfection!
